Holsten Galleries newsletter
Greetings. I hope you are well and enjoying the change in seasons. This month I’ve chosen some outstanding pieces by some of my favorite artists to share with you. It’s such a pleasure to stay in touch long distance and I always look forward to any comments or questions you might have. I wish you and your families a very pleasant winter. |
"Every wielding of the blowpipe for him is an attempt to connect with the primordial essences of creation through the transformative power of fire." – Laurie Winters, Former Curator, Milwaukee Museum of Art |
I have just added two "new" pieces by Stephen Rolfe Powell to my online inventory. I was very happy to come across two stellar pieces that had previously escaped my attention. As always, Stephen’s exuberant palette and mastery of the glass medium is abundantly apparent. |

I was delighted to receive images of Jon Kuhn’s two latest creations just days before this newsletter. "Fortunate One" is a wonderful example of Jon’s iconic cube series. This piece has tremendous depth and is quite dramatic. The smaller piece, "Ancient Illusion," is a bit more subtle but still very impactful due to its many facets. |

Dinosaur I have just today received images of this beautiful piece, an outstanding example of Lino’s iconic "Dinosaur" pieces. I love the graceful form and the gorgeous colors of this piece. |
