Holsten Galleries newsletter
Greetings. This month I am happy to share new pieces by four of my favorite artists. I also want to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones happy holidays and a new year full of peace, good health and prosperity. |
"Life is the lie that enables us to see the truth." – Pablo Picasso |
I have just added two final pieces to my new Lino Tagliapietra inventory. To see all new Lino Tagliapietra works, please click here. |
This "Fenice" is one of the most graceful forms I have seen from this well known series by Lino Tagliapietra. There is a lovely sculptural balance that makes this work quite unique. The color combination is both unexpected and pleasing. |

Dinosaur I love everything about this piece from Lino Tagliapietra’s "Dinosaur" series: the exceptionally flowing form, the wonderful color palette, the cane work, the surface carving–all of these contribute to the harmonious whole. |

Citron Vanishing Gladiator This beautiful new piece by Stephen Powell is from his "Echo" series. The masterful use of the "murini" and the dramatic colors make this piece a standout |
|
|
Bushido This new cube by Jon Kuhn was only finished and photographed in the past few days. If this one appeals to you, be sure to ask me for detail images. It strikes a wonderful balance between technical control and artistic bedazzlement. |
Once again, Nancy has created a glass sculpture which demonstrates her absolute control of the glassblowing process. The form is playful and perfect, the colors are intoxicating and the overall effect both subtle and dramatic. |

Thank you for taking a few moments of your time to enjoy these beautiful works of art. I look forward to hearing from you with any questions or comments you may have. Be well and stay in touch. Kenn Holsten |
